Fabian Biagetti, Principal
Fabian Biagetti’s experience in the energy management sector spans more than 20 years. As a consultant, he has facilitated hundreds of workshops with Fortune 1000 companies, teaching change management and continuous improvement techniques associated with energy use. His strengths include the evaluation of energy management practices associated with operational, maintenance and behavioral issues and engagement of both senior site management teams and operations personnel in the development and execution of implementation plans for corrective action. Fabian holds a BS in Civil Engineering from UCLA and an MBA from Pepperdine University where he focused his studies on organizational theory and strategic planning. Fabian is based in Sacramento, California and is fluent in Spanish.

Ed Birch, Principal
Ed Birch brings a wealth of knowledge in disciplines ranging from business development, manufacturing management, management consulting, quality assurance, product development, finance, product design, and information technology. He has over 25 years experience in a variety of industrial environments including chemical processing, food processing, mining, and pharmaceutical manufacturing. Ed’s successful programs have been built on gaining the commitment of his client’s executive leadership and empowering employees to accept and implement change. Ed has an undergraduate degree in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA in Marketing from Wilkes University.

Les Tumidaj, Principal
Les Tumidaj has twenty-five years of experience in the areas of energy efficiency program planning and development, market assessment, and energy policy analysis. He has worked throughout the country with commercial and industrial customers, industry associations, electric and gas utilities and consortia, state utility regulatory bodies and associations, public interest groups, collaborative initiatives, federal power agencies and state/local governments in the development and implementation of comprehensive energy efficiency programs for businesses.

Jim Volkman, Principal
Jim Volkman has more than eighteen years of experience in developing and implementing regional resource conservation projects. Over the last several years he has worked with public and private entities and agencies supporting development and implementation of market transformation initiatives and resource acquisition programs. Jim’s recent work has involved merging his technical skills with business development and strategic planning in support of development and implementation of comprehensive resource conservation plans for business. By combining a business’ goals and objectives with a technical plan, he works to reduce resource operating costs through lower commodity costs, capital projects, and operational changes. Jim holds has a BS in mechanical engineering from Oregon State University, and is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Washington.

Martin Lott, Senior Associate
Martin brings over five years of engineering project management and market analysis experience to Strategic Energy Group. He has coached change management and continuous improvement in conjunction with advanced energy analytics in a variety of industrial settings. Martin holds a BS in mechanical engineering from Washington State University and an MBA from the University of Oregon. Martin is also a Certified Energy Manager.

Kevin Collins, Director
Kevin Collins has considerable executive leadership experience in the forest products industry and manages energy efficiency program implementations for Strategic Energy Group. Kevin brings over 25 years experience in modifying behavior and cultural changes associated with improving safety, reducing energy costs, improving quality, increasing production and establishing organizational optimization in large industrial and commercial entities. Kevin obtained his degree in Business Administration from North Idaho College.

Ralie Kubat, Director
Ralie Kubat manages energy efficiency program implementations for the Pennsylvania office. Ralie comes to Strategic Energy Group with career experience in implementing continuous improvement processes, IT, ERP and employee training development in the industrial gases and chemicals industry. Ralie has a BA degree in Business and Computer Science from Muhlenberg College.

Mike Razzeto, Consultant
Mike Razzeto is a senior manufacturing executive with 35 years of experience in the forest products industry. Mike capitalizes on his manufacturing and operations experience to help manufacturers enroll their workforce in becoming more energy efficient through the adoption of a continuous improvement process which focuses on energy efficiency. His career has focused on driving success in energy conservation, quality improvement, environmental compliance, product development and safety improvements. Mike has a BS in Business Administration from the University of Montana.

Steven Scott, Consultant
Steven Scott has nearly thirty years of experience in the implementation, evaluation, and planning of energy efficiency programs and projects. He has performed work in a variety of industries and technologies including food processing, wood products, semiconductor manufacturing, compressed air, electric motor management, variable speed drives, and industrial refrigeration. Mr. Scott’s education includes an MS in economics from Portland State University and a BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Washington. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Oregon and Washington and a Certified Energy Manager.

Mo Zareh, Consultant
Mo Zareh has over 30 years of experience in the Pulp and Paper and other industries. His career extends from design engineering and project management to senior management positions with major consulting engineering companies. Mo Zareh is a registered Professional Engineer with a Masters degree in Engineering and Applied Science from Portland State University. He was inducted in the school of engineering hall of distinguished alumni in 1998.

Auralia Kubat, Program Coordinator
Auralia Kubat is the Program Coordinator for PPL EU Northeast region. She provides program support to customers pertaining to their energy usage models and energy management plan. Auralia also provides educational support for online learning to cohorts in other regions. Her background is in education, training, coaching, and customer service. Auralia has her BA in Education from Arcadia University.
